Our Team

Our staff hold qualifications in Legionella Management and Risk Assessments, Plumbing, Cooling Tower Risk Assessments, Asbestos Services, Fire Risk Management, Health & Safety and Construction Design and Management (PSDP) to name a few. We pride ourselves not only in the technical abilities and knowledge of our staff, but on their abilities to develop pragmatic working relationships with our customers.

Our people invest much of their own personal integrity in how they carry out their responsibilities to their customers, so that, in turn, our clients can fulfil their obligations to employees and visitors.

History

For over 18 years, HBE has continued to grow the number of services we offer and to build a network across Ireland and the UK to meet our clients’ needs.

We deliver our services across the island of Ireland with our locally based field operations teams. The company is privately owned by two locally-based directors, who both still work in the business.

HBE is now proven to be one of Ireland’s leading providers of Compliance services.

Our approach to quality

All HBE works are undertaken to the same exacting standards, with the information compiled and recorded in our award-winning Compliance Management system, enabling us to provide relevant information to our client’s partners & contractors, creating a clear information trail for audit purposes and importantly to ensure a strong continuity of standards within our service levels.

Our Quality and Environmental Management Systems have achieved certification to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018. We are also Cyber Essentials certified and UKAS Asbestos Surveying accredited with ISO (INAB equivalent) 17020.

We hold SIPPs certified by CHAS, SafeContractor and Acclaim; and are ConstructionLine Gold members as well as members of SNIPEF and WaterSafe.

HBE hold full Employee and Public Liability Insurance as well as Products insurance.

All UKAS accredited reports are issued by the Group Administration Head Office in Newry. Certification to the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management standards are applicable to services operated from the Group Administration Head Office in Newry.
