Our staff hold qualifications in Microbiology, Legionella Risk Assessments and Cooling Tower Risk Assessments, Asbestos & Engineering Services, Fire Risk Management, Health & Safety and Construction Design and Management (PDSP) and Cleanroom / HVAC Management to name a few. We pride ourselves not only in the technical abilities and knowledge of our staff, but on their abilities to develop pragmatic working relationships with our customers.
Our people invest much of their own personal integrity in how they carry out their responsibilities to their customers, so that, in turn, our clients can fulfil their obligations to employees and visitors.

History
For over 15 years, HBE has continued to grow the number of services we offer and to build a network across the UK and Ireland to meet our clients’ needs.
We have developed a network of regional offices in Dublin, Cork, Newry, Liverpool, Glasgow and London. The company is privately owned by two directors, who both still work in the business.
HBE is now proven to be one of Ireland’s leading providers of Health, Safety and Compliance consultancy services.

Our approach to quality
All HBE building inspections are undertaken to the same exacting standards and the information is compiled and recorded in our Compliance Management system, BlueZone manager thus enabling us to provide relevant information to our client’s partners & contractors, creating a clear information trail for audit purposes and importantly to ensure a strong continuity of standards within our service levels.
Our integrated Quality and Environmental Management Systems achieved registration to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 in October 2004 and the Occupational Health & Safety OHSAS 18001. We are also UKAS Asbestos Surveying and Asbestos Air Monitoring accredited with ISO 17020 and ISO 17025.
HBE holds full Employee and Public Liability Insurance as well as Professional Indemnity Insurance.
All UKAS accredited reports are issued by the Group Administration Head Office in Newry. Certification to the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 management standards are applicable to services operated from the Group Administration Head Office in Newry.
